Who We Are:
The WHS Chorale Booster Club is made up of a group of parents whose kids are enrolled in the choir program. The booster club has two purposes (1) to raise funds in order to award two $500 college scholarships to deserving graduating seniors that are enrolled in the WHS choir and (2) to raise funds for an end-of-the-year choir banquet and dance for all choir students.
The Booster club holds a variety of fundraisers. Here are some of the fun things that we accomplished last year:
- sold car decals
- sold “by donation only” sodas and cookies at choir concerts
- cleaned the Wylie Football Stadium after a playoff game
- held the annual “garage sale”
- organized and volunteered at the Holiday Dinner celebrating the Christmas season
The WHS Choir Booster Club will have many opportunities for you to volunteer alongside a great group of volunteers. They are a relaxed, easy-going group of parents that realize that the choir directors cannot “do it” alone.
